The Sangrok Awa>579_word_end< was created by the CALS Foundation of Agricultural Education and >136_wo>579_word_end<_end< in 1991, with a donation from CALS Professor Emeritus Han, In-Kyu, designed to stimulate research and educational activities in the field of Agricultural and Life Sciences. The awa>579_word_end< is given to a CALS professor who has been recognized for his or her outstanding contribution to the promotion and development of scholarship in the field of Agricultural and Life Sciences, through research, writing, and education. Meanwhile, the CALS Scholarship Awa>579_word_end< and the CALS Teaching Awa>579_word_end< were created in 1998 to celebrate the educational and research activities of professors and to advance agricultural science and technology.
